Blog Conversion Rate

Percentage

The percentage of blog visitors who take a desired action, such as subscribing, downloading a content offer, or making a purchase. Indicates the effectiveness of the blog in driving desired actions and its contribution to business goals.

Formula

(Number of conversions from the blog / Total blog visitors) x 100

Example

If 100 out of 2,000 blog visitors subscribe, the blog conversion rate is 5%.

The metric can also be applied locally to a specific campaign. For example, if a blog is meant to promote an ebook, conversion rate for that particular asset can be calculated based on the number of views recorded for the posts that mention the ebook.
